Crooked River Fishing Report — July 15, 2026: Dam Release Alert — Flows Spiked to 1,130 cfs
FLOW ALERT: The Crooked River below Bowman Dam has spiked to 1,130 cfs — up from ~200 cfs just five days ago — due to a major Prineville Reservoir release. Wading is dangerous and fishing is blown out. Check USGS Gauge 14087400 daily. When flows drop back to 150–300 cfs (expected within days), the Crooked will return to its outstanding summer caddis and PMD fishing.
