The Crooked tailwater below Bowman Dam is fishing well with cold 55°F water and clear conditions. Caddis, PMDs, and midges are all active — this is Central Oregon's best year-round dry fly river and July is no exception. Note late-season spawners at Big Bend CG; wade with care.
